We had a great meeting today with 15 people and we had some great 1 minutes – here’s what we all had to say….

Rob Hart, FirbanksIT was talking to us about irritable bowels!!

Kate Bickford, ForeverLiving products has been to Inverness to see a client and been in touch with a client who cancelled his carpel tunnel operation after using Forever Living products.

Belinda Harvey, Harvey Studios showed us a some slides of a recent wedding shoot she had done.

Jane Buswell of Business Fulcrum was subbed for by Linsey Cox of Winchester Make-up – she had a great Rupert Bear poem encouraging people to take advantage of her free marketing healthcheck. Incidentally, Linsey did the make-up for Belinda’s photoshoot.

Nigel Hubbard of Blake Lapthorn felt the need to continue the poem them by starting his one minute with: ‘There was a young lady from……’ He also had a referral from a guy who knew 15 years ago!

Jo Downton of Utility Warehouse was promoting the cashback card and if you recoummend friends and family you get money back. Win win. And left us with this thought: ‘Goals are made in granite but plans are made in the sand.’

Matt Carey of HandoverHR talked about their mediation service and what happens when things go wrong. The business is guilty until proven innocent so get legistlation in place that will protect you.

Sandy Reid from CCV Southampton was subbing for Rob Walsh who is on a wall in China raising money for scope and looking forward to collecting his sponsorship from the group. Sandy had to ride his motorbike to the meeting (after checking it was insured for business use!) as his car broke down.  Sandy specialises in selling the insurance we need, rather than the insurance we THINK we need.

Paul Newton develops people and gets their business to the next step. He does have insurance, he does have a driving license and he is back in his car!

Elizabeth Lawton of Elizabeth’s kitchen had a week at home in Cornwall where she ate alot and ate out alot! She is busy this week restocking her regualar outlets.

Nicola Dickinson of Fresh Therapies started a new foot course. She has also learnt its nol to no and priorise things.

Mike Hancock of plan2gether is advising that people put money away for Christmas now to avoid last minute credit card spend. Yes, we have mentioned the C-word in September!
